Muay Thai Cardio Kickboxing and Fitness Classes
Kickboxing is an intense cardio workout that will build strength and speed in your punches and kicks. Students use Muay Thai pads, heavy bags and the mirrors to train in this cardio class! Kickboxing combines aerobic and anaerobic conditioning and helps develop timing, stamina and power. This class is every morning from 9:15-10:15 and every evening from 5:30-6:15. While we have students of all skill levels in this program, it caters mainly to teens and adults who share the goal of fitness, weightloss, and muscle tone in a fun and friendly environment.
During the summer of 2009 Scott Stein, Egan Deeks, and William Bogynska traveled to Boulder, CO to be in the first group of certified Muay Thain instructors under the Hung Tran, Scott Stein's former instructor. Each class, taught by certified instructors includes stretching, heavy bag work, exercises for abs, arms and legs, and more. The uniform includes a Tank top, shin guard, gloves and Muay Thai shorts.
